Classes are the absolute heartbeat of Wonga Health & Fitness Studio.

We have built the studio itself and our business around a class model, with the aim of helping our clients achieve their health & fitness goals effectively & efficiently, while at the same time providing the best group fitness experience possible.

Both our classes and our class schedule have been designed in consultation with the people of Wonga Park, so we're confident that they reflect the wants & needs of the community as closely as possible.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

[Strength] Strong Fit

Strong Fit is our strength-focused class built to help you get stronger, move better and train with purpose. Expect structured resistance training that targets the whole body, with a focus on good technique, progressive overload and building real strength over time.

It’s ideal for anyone wanting to improve confidence in the gym, increase muscle tone and feel more capable in everyday life. With expert coaching, a supportive small-group environment and options for different fitness levels, Strong Fit gives you the benefits of strength training without the guesswork.

DURATION: 45 minutes

[Fitness] CardioBlast

This class is perfect for everyone. The class includes cardio conditioning and weighted exercises. There is a range of class formats including Circuit, HIIT and Pyramid training. CardioBlast is a fast-paced class designed to get your heart rate up, improve endurance and leave you feeling energised. Expect a mix of cardio intervals, functional movements and full-body conditioning that keeps things varied, challenging and fun.

It’s perfect for anyone wanting to boost fitness, burn energy and get a solid sweat on in a supportive group setting. With options for different fitness levels, CardioBlast helps you push yourself at your own pace while building stamina, confidence and overall conditioning.

[Fitness] Box Fit

BoxFit is a high-energy class that combines boxing-inspired training with full-body conditioning for a workout that’s fun, fast-paced and seriously effective. You’ll work through a mix of punch combinations, cardio intervals and strength-based exercises to build fitness, coordination and endurance.

It’s a great option if you want to burn energy, relieve stress and improve overall fitness in a supportive group environment. No experience needed — just bring your energy, have a crack and get ready to leave feeling stronger, fitter and more confident.

[Muay Thai] Muay Thai

Our signature Muay Thai class combines traditional techniques from the heart of Thailand with modern training methodologies.

We'll start with the foundation, focusing on the core techniques of Muay Thai. You'll learn proper stances, footwork, punches, kicks, knees, and elbows – essential elements that build a strong base for your journey. From there we'll go into more advanced areas including strategic Muay Thai drills and clinching techniques.

As well as teaching you the art of Muay Thai, this class is fantastic for improving both your physical (cardiovascular, strength, flexibility) and your mental (focus, discipline, perseverance) conditioning.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced practitioner, our syllabus caters to all levels, ensuring you grow as a martial artist and as an individual.

[Pilates] Reformer Fit

Pilates is a system of repetitive exercises designed to promote strength, stability, and flexibility. Pilates exercises develop the body through muscular effort that stems from the core.

Reformer Pilates is a form of Pilates that utilises a special piece of equipment called a "reformer," which consists of a sliding carriage, springs, ropes, and straps. It is designed to improve flexibility, strength, balance, and overall body awareness.

[Yoga] Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced grounding style of yoga that involves holding passive postures for an extended period. The aim of Yin Yoga is to target the deeper connective tissues of the body, such as the fascia, ligaments and joints.

Teenage Classes

Teenage Class
Our Teenage Class is designed to help teens build confidence, fitness and healthy habits in a supportive, encouraging environment. Sessions focus on improving strength, coordination, discipline and overall wellbeing, while giving teens a positive outlet to move, learn and challenge themselves.

It’s a great option for teenagers of all fitness levels, whether they’re looking to get stronger, improve confidence or be part of a welcoming community. Expect expert coaching, structured sessions and a fun atmosphere that helps them feel capable, supported and proud of their progress.

Muay Thai
Muay Thai is a dynamic striking class that builds fitness, confidence and real skill through technique-based training. You’ll learn punches, kicks, knees, elbows and movement patterns while improving coordination, endurance, strength and mental focus.

Whether you’re brand new or have experience, this class gives you the chance to train hard, develop discipline and build confidence in a supportive environment. Expect a challenging, high-energy session that helps you sharpen your skills and leave feeling strong and accomplished.

Boxing
Boxing is a skill-based class that combines technique, fitness and fast-paced training to help you build confidence and improve overall conditioning. You’ll work on punch combinations, footwork, timing and movement while developing endurance, coordination and upper-body strength.

Karate

[Yoga] Slow Flow

Slow Flow Yoga is your chance to move, breathe and reset without feeling like you need to be a pretzel to keep up. This class blends gentle movement, longer holds and steady breath work to help you build mobility, improve flexibility and switch off from the chaos for a bit.

It’s ideal if you’re feeling tight, stressed, sore or just want a slower-paced session that still leaves you feeling better in your body. Expect a supportive, welcoming vibe, simple guidance and plenty of options for all levels. You’ll walk out feeling looser, calmer and more grounded — not smashed.
