Teenage Boxing

Teenage Boxing Class – Mondays at 4:30 PM For Ages 13–17 Our Teenage Boxing class at Wonga Health & Fitness is more than just throwing punches – it's about building strength, discipline, focus, and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Designed specifically for teens, this class introduces the fundamentals of boxing including: Footwork and stance Defensive techniques Pad and bag work

Basic combinations and drills

Fitness conditioning specific to boxing

Led by our experienced Head Coach Max, with over 35 years in martial arts and real fight experience, your teen will be guided through safe, structured training that helps develop:

Teenage Muay Thai

Teenage Muay Thai Class – Wednesdays at 4:30 PM For Ages 12–17

Muay Thai, known as “The Art of Eight Limbs,” is a dynamic and powerful martial art from Thailand that uses punches, kicks, elbows, and knees in a beautifully fluid and effective striking system.

It’s one of the most respected stand-up martial arts in the world – known for its effectiveness, discipline, and conditioning.

At Wonga Health & Fitness, our Teenage Muay Thai class introduces students to the techniques, traditions, and physical benefits of this incredible art form in a safe, fun, and structured environment.

In each session, teens will learn: Proper stance, guard, and movement Striking techniques (hands, legs, elbows, knees) Defensive skills and clinch work Bag work and partner drills Conditioning and fitness routines specific to Muay Thai.

Taught by our Head Coach Max, who has competitive Muay Thai experience and over 35 years in martial arts, this class is perfect for any teen looking to:

Meet Coach Max – Head Trainer at Wonga Health & Fitness

With over35 years of dedicated experiencein martial arts, Coach Max brings a deep passion and a wealth of knowledge to every class he leads. His journey in martial arts has been one ofconstant evolution and learning, driven by a love for the craft and a commitment to helping others grow through it.

Max holds a list of qualifications, including:

🥋 3rd Degree Red Singlet – BJMA

🥋 4th Degree Black Belt – Mt Evelyn Martial Arts

🥋 3rd Degree Black Belt – BJMA Zen Do Kai

🥊 Competitive Muay Thai fighting experience

🛡️ Certified instructor across various self-defence disciplines

Max is a passionate coach and mentor, especially when it comes to working with teens and helping them discover their strength, discipline, and confidence through martial arts.

His teaching style is a blend of tradition, real-world application, and modern training methods that keep students engaged, challenged, and continually progressing.
